Im trying to locate a used conrod for my 1985 IL4 75 hp merc.
The OE part number is 624-8101A3. Can anybody tell me in which other merc engines this conrod has been used?

Re: Merc 75 Conrod

Yes i mean a connecting rod- thought conrod was a standard U.S term- maybe its more typical for the british.
Sorry about the confusion- still interested in possibility to use a connecting rod from another merc engine in my 4 cylinder 75 hp from 1985.
One potential engine would be a 4-cylinder 80 hp from 1982- do these use the same connecting rod (same bore & stroke) or a 1979 3-cylinder 70 hp (also same bore and stroke)
Benkku
