Can someone explain how to remove the bearing carrier to allow acces to the gears etc? It looks as though the housing is theaded, although when I use a homemade tool installed in the exhaust slots of the bearing carrier, the carrier spins but will not wind out. <br />The seal and bearing have failed for sure, God knows what else I'll find once I get in there
