Merc 9.9 Throttle Question

So I know there is a lot of discussion about converting tiller controlled throttles to helm controlled throttles. It seems easy enough, just connect the cable to the throttle in the motor and you're good to go. But I want to do this on my kicker. It is a 1998 Mercury 9.9 HP 4 stroke. The problem I have is that I remove my motor from it's mount when I get back from the docks. How can I make remote throttle system that will be easy to remove each day? Thanks -- Joel
