Merc Alpha thrust washer drawing/dims?

Anybody know the Max OD and min ID I need to make a shim for my thrust washer? My new prop seems to seat further on the propshaft, resulting in the prop hub just grazing the outside of the lower unit itself. I need to make a spacer to shim it out a little, like .048" (18gauge) or .075" (14gauge) stainless steel. I can cut this on our laser today at work but don't have the shim with me to get the right dimensions...

Any help would be appreciated.

They make all kinds of different thrust washers.Go to a Merc dealer and get the correct one. Making a shim might work but there is an awful lot of torque there and you really need the right one.Jerry

You Don't need a Shim,...
You Need the Right Thrust Hub....
