I have a mercury I believe to be a merc mark58a. There is a 7 digit number stamped in the top of the block. Is this the serial# of the motor? I race this motor and it is not completely in factory condition it has been modified. There is no tag with this info on it. I am also looking for more engine blocks or complete motors running or not.
