merc model 500

I have a 1970 model 500 50hp that has a 11 spline hub. I need a prop, all I can find have a 13 spline hub. The prop I have is 10in dia. and 13pitch alum. 3 blade. Any help locating one would be greatly appreciated. thankyou Tom

I don't have access to a Mercury parts catalog so I don't know if long and shortshaft models have the same gearcase. There are plenty of shortshaft props floating around because that model was produced and raced from 1961 to ca. 1990 or later. Check with Ron Hill (Calif.) or Jeff Titus (Fla.)
