A boat dealer is telling me that the Mercury 150 HP 4 stroke saltwater series is made by Yamaha. Sounds far fetched to me. Any truth to this?

The majority of 4 stroke product is Yamaha. The powerhead anyway.<br /><br />I believe the fuel injected product though is all Mercury.<br /><br />The gearcase and leg are Mercury.<br /><br />TMD
