Merc spark plug condition

One question, I reset the fuel mixture on my Merc 25, 2-stroke a little on the richer side, due to the fact that it was set too lean. How oily should the plugs be? The plugs it's self on mine are coated in oil and the only dry spot is the electrode. Is that acceptable?

Reset mixture?

Idle or main jet?

Idle should be to best idle speed IN gear while IN the water PLUS just a bit more to provide acceleration without a miss, hesitation or bog.

Main, if adjustable, should be to best WOT speed IN gear IN the water.

Oil residues on the plug is normal for a 50 : 1 mixture, do not run any less oil.
