merc tack replacment

does anyone know what brand of gauges that the tack will work with my 998 115hp mercury , need to replace the tack and gauges but don,t know what brand to buy?also this is on a 1998 nitro 700 lx

Any brand is compatible where the "pulse" setting can be changed to match the number of alternator poles your engine uses. Teleflex, Faria, Etc. will work if it can be set to 6 pulse (for a 12 poles alternator). It will have a small dial on the back of the gauge for this..

As Rick said, most brands will work for you. Make sure the Tach is for an outboard, as I/B and I/O tachs can be different.
