i have a 1997 mercruiser 350c.i. 5.7 L Bravo II XL.
I slip it for eight months in New Jersey (salt). I use the aluminum anodes that the Merccruiser tech told me to.
The problem is , I go through two sets of anodes a season even with the mercathode unit . The boat has no shore power but it does have a Guest 10 amp. marine battery charger installed with two batteries.
IF I install a second controler in parallel , would this slow the anodes use down ? Also the drive does not show any gal. corrosion.
Thanks
