Hey guys. Bought a 1984 Mark Twain sonic. It's a 19 footer with a 305 Chevy 2bbl in it. I got a question about my drive. It says 898 on the drive. After looking and researching I believe it is supposed to have a alpha gen 1 drive. My question is is 898 my drive model number or is this a alpha drive.

I believe 898 is the engine 305 .and your drive would be an R Drive. So yes alpha 1.
