i need to know if anyone out there can give me some pointers on the upper gear set removal for the old #1 mercruiser drive.i have the upper case stripped all the way to the last parts,(i.e.the 2 races,spacer and bearing).is there a special puller for the last pieces?or do they tap out with the brass hammer?i am a qualified automotive machinist and have many specialty tools the diy's don't.This is my first outdrive and i ain't scared!please help if you can,chris (66 twain)
