Last year the mercruiser overheated due to hydrilla in the outdrive, turned the boat off and winterized it, replaced wires, plugs, cap rotor and also got the conversion kit from points to ignition. Found the damn ballast resistor that u had to bypass which was the purple wire for all u 3.0 liter. Also added a water and fuel seperator due to the 3.0 liters not having them installed factory.
Took it out and the boat wont run over 3200 rpms, ran a compression test and in 1 and 4 got 125 lbs 2 and 3 got 25lbs, sounds like a head gasket correct?

Wot isd at 3200 rpms but the boat runs like nothing is wrong except for the rpm change.

Any help will be appreciated
