I just got done changing the impeller on the drive and now reverse doesn't work. Fire up the engine and neutral works, forward works, but no reverse. I made sure to include the washers on the shift shaft, and propeller was locked in forward gear when I put it on and the shift shaft met up with the other half. Ended up taking the upper and lower drive off and cleaning the junk out of the shift slider and such. Put the drive back on and still no reverse. Its like when I pull on the drive cable there is not movement to engage reverse. what am I doing wrong? please help
