Hey All,
Its been a few years since I have posted a question. Anyhoo, I picked up a 1985 Thompson Cutlass which is powered by a Mercruiser 170. I changed the old points setup over to CDI, new distribute cap/rotor, wires, and plugs and it fires right up and idles great. I would like to check the timing to be sure its spot on. What is the timing setting on these old mercruiser 170's?
