Once all the cables, hoses and wires are disconnected there are 2 motor mount bolts in back and 4 up front. If you remove the manifold and head it's pretty light, I bolted 2- 2x4's to the top of the engine and had 3 neighbors help me lift it out of the boat, easy cheesy :D

Take the lag bolts from the stringers.Much easier to install that way.Jerry

lag bolts in the floor for the front and back.lifting eye on the top with a under a tree limb.very strong pully or chain pully.

alright, thanks alot. one other quick question. do i need to do anything special when i put another motor in balancing wise and anything else i might need to know?
