Mercruiser 3.0 no spark

I have a 1983 mercruiser 3.0 that isn't getting any spark I have replaced the cap rotor plugs and wires but still nothing.it turns over but just won't spark.

Probably needs new points and condenser. aka tuneup parts.

Everybody blames the coil first, but it seldom is the problem.

Ayuh,... The Best place to find perfectly good ignition coils is in the trashcans at boat launches....

Perfectly good ignition coils are throw away by the Thousands every year, cause they're Easy to change...
