Mercruiser 3.0 stalling out

De-winterized my boat, it ran fine for about 10 min w/ hose connected. Fuel was full and stabilized at the end of last season, gas smells normal, oil and filter were changed during winterization, added marvel mystery oil to stabilize over the winter, oil still looks brand new. I took the boat out for the first trip, and she stalled while idling out of the channel, 5 min from dock. I have gotten it to start only a few times since then, but stalls after a min or two. It does not have a fuel filter/water separator installed. so far I have just changed the spark plugs, and still have the same stalling problem, It idles like normal, then just suddenly stalls out, and doesn't start back up. Any ideas as to where to go next???

Ayuh,... Is it runnin' outa Fuel, or loosin' it's Spark,..??

Spark i think. I took the boot off the cap, and touched a screw driver between them and got nothing. I broke out the electrical meter, and theres no power going to the part that center wire off of my cap goes to. its got a purple and gray wiring harness that feed it from the back of the circuit breaker. the wires on the circuit breaker are all taped together where they come out, and go off to all ends of the boat, the battery, the starter, and the dash. There is 12v at the starter and the thing with the 2 bolts thats wired to the starter maybe 8 inches above it (just below the circuit breaker). but no volts at the purple/gray wire harness. any idea what that thing may be called so i can order a new one? thanks!

Ayuh,... It's the Coil...
The purple wire should show voltage with the key "On"..

yea, there's no voltage at that purple wire or the gray wire, I do have 12v at the solenoid though (found a parts diagram online).

Changed the coil, about $80, shes good to go now, thanks for the help!
