Mercruiser 3.0 timing

Hello everyone, I hope all yall here are well.
Can someone please help me to identify correct timing specs for my engine? Serial number F077854.
I have downloaded manual #26, but it does not cover timing spec for this serial number.

OK, to set timing it needs to be placed in base timing mode. Wires need to be jumpered at the 2 locations shown in pic.

The correct manual for your motor is number 13. The timing setup using your manual is located in section 4B



If the right connection on the distributor does not have the 2 white wires hanging loose, then you will need a timing shunt. Timing is set at 1* BTDC

For your serial number it shouldn't be a 1* ATDC, that didn't happen till later years. All good, probably won't hurt
