Hi everyone. Today i took my boat on the canal to test the alternator kit just put on kit did its job. When i started my motor its was just cranking. Then i pushed choke botton on my
Shifter and its started but was acting like it was going to stall out. So i was adjusting the idle screw to were it sounded normal. As i started going down the canal i was pushing shifter forward more . The it was bogging out and stalling out. Then pulled engine cover off to make sure carb was getting fuel and the carb was flooded. So i let motor sit for a bit then tried it again. Just cranked . Pushed choke button in and pushed shifter foward ran for a couple seconds stall out again. Then there was a flame coming out carb blew out didnt try it again. Any ideas? Dont know if this matters or not. Had to turn crank two times by hand and socket to get belt over the pulley. Did it two times each way. Dont know if that hurts anything. Carb was rebuilt last year and plugs ,wire, cap, and rotor were done last year as well
