I have twin 350 mag horizon inboards and when the ignition key is turned on one engine, power to the ignition is intermittent. When it fails, we get power to the gauges and no audible alarms for the alarm test. You can crank the engine but it won't start. At all times, I have power leaving the ignition switch going to the engine. Does anyone know of any safety or ignition cutoff switches on this type of engine or has anyone experienced a similar problem?

Sounds like a loose plug or corrosion problem in the plug to the engine.

I think that I may have some experience with 350 magnum ignition issues  . You may want to read through the "Sputter pop go like heck and back" thread. In the mean time, it would be very helpful to know what year your talking about.
