Took my boat for a run yesterday ran her for and hour at about 25miles per hr when i shut her of she kept bucking and didn't want to shut down for like 20 or 30 seconds ....any suggestions on what might cause this.

engine is "deiseling", also refered to as "run on". check timing, and carb idle adjustments. One way to avoid this is to let the motor idle for a bit before shutting down, closed throttle and idle for 10-20 secs

You were just running fairly hard, if you just stopped and shut it down, run-on is "normal". Uncontrolled and potentially VERY expensive, but normal. You should always let the engine idle and cool off before shutting down.

There are other causes, as mentioned above, and don't forget about the possibility of deposit buildup in the combustion chamber.
