So found out I have a crack in my engine block.. " yes was a sad day" but, ordered my new motor today. Does anyone have any tips on how the old engine unhooks at the back so I will have a good idea before I dive into it? Thanks.

2 bolts at the transom . . . then the forward mounts that attach to the engine block.

As far as fasteners, that's about it. the rest is wiring, fuel line, control linkages, and exhaust connections.

but your better off removing the front mounts with the engine by unscrewing/un-bolting from the stringer. They need to be free to do the alignment
