Hi
I need some help. Today I switched on one of the engines and when I switched it on apart of the normal beep I had two additional beeps before I start the engine.
I noticed that on the gage the bat was ok, the temp was ok but the bar was showing this sign !

Do you think that it is the water psi sensor that is fitted on the power steering cooler?

Year of engine 2007

This being before the motor was started I'm not sure there is a problem. Did you take longer before you started to crank the motor maybe?

In any case, with the motor running or not you should be able to step thru and maybe get something that will say more then just BAR

Hi.
Yes it was befor I started the engine and no faults given on the display of the gauge.

You know when you switch on the ignition switch on you have a beep right after it I have another 2 beeps

Do you know what Bar is for?

I understand the one and additional 2 beeps, just trying to understand when it happens

BAR is metric version for pressure. So its saying low pressure and that can be oil or water

Once the motor is started does it continue to give any kind of beeps?
Happen to know your engine serial number?

Thanks for the serial number

I don't think you have an issue, the ECM is saying there is no pressure (2 beeps) but once motor starts, this is cleared and all is good. There maybe something in the wings since this just started. If you could get the motor scanned to see if there is anything that is throwing the issue, or try and go thru the system monitor steps to see if something shows, but right now I'm not finding anything.

Maybe muc has some thonghts

I don't think you have an issue unless it shows up when the motor is running.

Its my understanding is you didn't use to see this and now you do. Unless your seeing this and or the beeps with the motor running, then there is no issue. When the motor is not running there is no pressure. You can replace later or now, but I really don't think you have an issue and might still see BAR and hear the beep until the motor is running.
