ok... so some of you have read my last couple posts with a brand new, rebuilt mercruiser 4.3, new coil, new ignition sensor, and ... expensively... a new ICM.... which was not the problem at all!!! apparently, on the mercruiser 4.3 alpha edition, there is an extra ground plug that looks like it should belong on the coil... so thats where we hooked it up... that cost us about $700... apparently the wire goes nowhere... and now the engine runs fine... the only thing I need now is a little help because the engine is idling pretty high, and I need to turn it down, and not sure how to do it.... hope this helps someone.. and someone can help me...
