Mercruiser 4.3L MPI 2004 Hard Starting

Great pick up there guys - you are correct. I have checked the online parts catalogue and my current plus (BP6EFS) are wrong and they should be the Iridium ITR4A15. I wonder if the heat range of the current plugs (6) would account for the issues I am having.......The correct plugs run hotter at a 4 rating rather than a 6......

Anyway, time to find a new mechanic and get some proper analysis done using some of the suggestions here........

Your engines have never been registered with MerCruiser. Highly recommend that you talk to a dealer and get them in your name. There maybe recalls or product updates for your engines.
