Hi all - I'm a 1st time boat owner but a long time enthusiast. Recently bought my 1st boat, a 2013 SeaRay 260 Sundeck from a reputable dealer and the day after my 1st outing there was a lot of oil in the bilge and the dipstick was showed the oil was low. While we were out driving the day before, I kept fussing with the guages and the oil pressure was running around 60 psi when running at speed and 40 when running at no-wake in the bay. I immediately took it back to the dealer and they said they would fix it and that it didn't sound like a big problem. What should I be looking for / asking the dealer when I get it back? Getting nervous this might be a lemon....

I would be asking that once it's diagnosed you be informed, and if the engine needs to come out (and it likely will) that you be able to inspect it when it's out.

Or it could be a loose oil filter if they had some D mechanic do the oil change. Or it could be a remote oil filter cooling hose that goes to a heat exchanger ,that is shot ,either the hose, fitting or exchanger itself. Verification as noted by Chris is a must..
