Hi all, just a quick one. We just got done doing some serious engine work (risers, fuel filter, head gaskets, thermostat, that stuff) . Now the boat won’t start without starting fluid. Once it initially starts with the fluid, it runs fine. We rebuilt the carb but whoever had their hands in it before us made a mess of it. Should I just grab a new carb?

I would. An Edelbrock 1409 is a great replacement for the aging Q-Jets.
