hi everyone

i have recently reinstalled my engine in my boat (sea ray select 220 6.2 mpi) and there is a socket on the distributor that i can't find anything on the loom to plug in to it.

engine is running fine on muffs and am going to do a lake test thursday.

what i am asking is this socket redundant or am i missing something.

thanks in advance

henry

describe"socket" .there is a single wire there with a bullet type connector and a rubber plug. used for setting the timing.
