Very curious on how the interlock is suppose to work. My engine use to momentary stall when shifting from neutral to forward or even neutral to reverse. I don't remember if it use to stall coming out of gear, but it may very well have. I have since replaced the lower shift cable.
What I have noticed is it no longer stalls when going into gear from neutral, and sometimes makes a grind.
So what are the normal operations of the interlock, is it only suppose to trip the switch when coming out of gear when there is tension on the cable? As far as going into gear, I assume nothing syncs the gears, you just need to be quick?
