Mercruiser Alpha 1shift problem

1993 GM 4 cyl Alpha 1 I/O all of a sudden at 25mph jumped out of gear (engine raced). Was towed in and shifter moves forward to reverse and turns shift shaft in lower unit (90 degrees total) but in not fully engaged in forward or reverse (slips some if turned by hand in one direction and clicks in the other direction for both forward and reverse.

Time to Start taking it Apart,<br />Till you Find the Problem..........<br />Coupler, ??? Nahhhh.....<br />Prop Hub, ?????<br />Lower Unit, ??????<br />Upper Unit, ?????? Maybe.... Stripped Gear, ???
