Ok here we go I have a 1988 Mercruiser 5.0 and here in lies the problem. I can idle this motor all day long no problems. But when I go to put some power on at about 2600 rpm the motor falters and stalls out. It is then very hard to start also I seems to be overheating the rizers are hot to the touch. If i pump the throtle it will start but not run long. The motor has new rizers and manifolds new carb and new fuel pump all water seperators are new I am at my wits end need some sugestions. It also has a new impeller and a new waterpump on the out drive
