Mercruiser Engine Weights

Considering repowering a 25' Wellcraft that currently has a pair of Merc 470s (4 cylinders), with a Merc 6.2 L. What is the weight of an operating 470 vs an operating 6.2 L that is FWC and has PS?

I believe the 470 (3.7l) with alpha drive is approx 600lbs, since the blocks are aluminum, 6.2 with alpha drives should be approx. 1000lbs maybe a little bit more. These weights include motor and drives I know a 5.7 alpha is about 998, I would think t V8's would almost double the weight over those 470's.
