mercruiser help

I have a mercruiser 140. I just replaced spark plugs, wires, pints, condenser and fuel filter. the boat runs fine cold but when it warms up between 30mph - 40mph it runs terrible. It feels like it is skipping. I also adjusted the timing. (6 degrees ATDC)Does any one have any ideas what it could be.<br /><br /> thanks

Check T-stat and do a compression test.

6degrees ATDC??? Better go back to the book. Are you sure it's AFTER??

Here ya go.<br />Timing- 6 degrees BTDC<br />Point Gap- .022<br />Dwell- 28-32<br />Idle- 500-700<br />WOT- 4200-4600<br /><br />Check all this again!

Your carb is running to lean, after the choke opens....<br />Dirt in the high-speed jets ?????

or more water/crud still in tank and lines. old gas?
