Mercruiser is clicking, and won't start

1994 CrownLine with Mercruiser and brand new starter. After the starter went in, it worked for a day, and now today it doesn't. Everytime I start it, it just rapidly clicks.<br /><br />Any suggestions?

"rapidly clicks like a weak battery"<br />,loose/corroded/ damaged battery cables ,connections, battery.<br />clicking with turning the key, check "slave soleniod"
