As close as I can tell from looking at the book, I have a mercruiser model 1. It is on a 1977 18' fiberform. My question is...what kind of horsepower is it good for?
I'm not sure they actually rated drives for hp back then. The Alpha is based on the Model 1 design, and that's good for 300hp. I don't think i'd go that far...
Mercuiser put these drives behind the 320hp EFI engine from 1984 to 1986.<br /><br />Personally I won't put more than 300 through them, and even then, only if they're perfectly shimmed up.<br /><br />Chris.....
