Mercruiser Oil Check Help

Hi,

I need some important advice regarding which oils to use on my Tahoe Q4.

Engine Oil I can deal with.

The oil reservoir tucked away to the port side of the engine compartment.
What is that for and what oil do I use?

Is there anything else I should be checking oil level wise?

my guess for places to check oils would be, engine oil, trim fluid, and drive lub. maybe power steering fluid..

your best bet will be to get the mercruiser service manual that applies to your rig. it will have the facts in it as to what you have and what you need to do..

You need to go to your local Merc dealer and order an Owners manual. It explains in detail everything you are asking about and more. You may also want to get the boats owners manual as well (if available), so you know where things are at that you don't even know about yet.
