Is there an automobile version of this or am I "fitting limited"? - looking at 200 bucks + up here in Canada for the Merc / Goodyear. Cheers

Need to find a hydraulic shop to make up some hoses using metric fittings. The latest large hose is 14mm x 1.25 inverted thread

Look up Mercruiser hydraulic lines and you can find Aeroquip fittings. While I've done some research just have not done enough yet. Take your line to a store that has metric and SAE nuts an bolts. Try to find a nut that your line will screw into, that is the thread size and diameter

And if its the low pressure return you wont have to worry about the pressure
