Hi All

Here in the U.K. I can get most things for the engine here no problem.
But...the price of the spark plugs for these engines is nothing short of crazy.
For the first time in years I actually ordered them from the US. Even with postage, poor value of the U.K. pound and crazy import duty and tax...it was still so much cheaper.
I didn’t look around too much in the US market but wanting to know what the MPI owners of the similar engines would pay for a set of 8 NGK 5599’s.
Ill likely be getting them from the US from now on. Thankfully they don’t need replaced as much as standard plugs do.

any 14mm x 17.5 mm spark plug will currently work in the new motors . Unless you seriously into emissions motors but at $9.00 USD each I think its an overpriced plug that produces a spark
MR43LTS or equivilant will work just fine graph dosent go that small but its about .007 shorter in length

Thanks guys.

Ive tried the ac delco platinum plugs. They were very obviously not as good as the recommended iridium NGK 5599.
Suppose I should rephrase the question.

I want to keep to what should be in there really. Standard plugs just won’t behave in these mpi really. Even the after market delco platinum aren’t good as mentioned.

Was that $55 for the NGK ?
