Mercruiser swap question

I have a 1994 bayliner with a mercruiser 3.0 and the motor went bad. my question is what years and will any mercruiser 4 cyl motor fit?

Welcome to iboats!

By saying "went bad", we cannot give you very helpful answers. What exactly is wrong with the engine? You may be able to have it repaired/rebuilt rather inexpensively as opposed to an entirely different one. Give us more details.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... Any year can be adapted to fit....

Only the GM 4 cylinder motors, the 3.0l, or the 2.5l will work, Right...
