Purchased a new Thunderbolt ignition for my 5.0L (1996) because she was cranking but not firing. New version has a ground wore (old had 2 wires only). I connected ground to where carb bolts down and she fired up until today when she stalled and i have the same symptoms as before the new ignition rotor and cap. Am i mossing something? Os there a better place i should ground? Any thoughts appreciated

Don't see where the ground is located as the issue, it just happened to start running again after it was replaced. Have you run thru the TB troubleshooting chart?
