So i have noticed that one of my trim pumps in my boat is not working. Now I know as a fact that the motor is working. I had the same issue last season. I have replaced the upper solenoid and it worked for a few months at the switch at the throttle. Now it seems that the switch at the throttle is not working at all as well as the trailer switch. It makes a clicking noise and that's it. I noticed that the trim plate is very rusty as well as the wires and its connectors. I would like to rewire the whole pump portion of it. I would need help on choosing the correct gauge wire to rewire both solenoids and the rest of the wires at the trim plate and pump. My next question is it there are any wire diagrams any where on the web so i know i wire everything up correctly. Also are there any wire harnesses sold for the switch portion of it because i have noticed that there is a plug going into the pump going from the up/down switch at the throttle. And does anyone know how i can take the throttle apart to get to the damn switch. All help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
