Mercruiser Trim Tab HELP!

Just got the boat back from having the water pump impeller changed by a family friend who has extensive experience with Mercruiser.....particular the pre-alpha like the 76 cruisers I currently have. Looked and noticed the trim tab isn't installed......niether is the bolt. Don't have power steering so I'm sure I need it.... Am I draining oil and doing this whole shenanigans over again? Sounds like an awesome mechanic to me.....

My thoughts exactly.

mechanic to boss - hey bozz, I forgot the bolt for the trim tab.
Boss to mechanic - don't worry, he'll never notice.

Would make me want to go back and have them fix it ...................... then again, maybe not. They may forget the quad ring, or the impeller, or ???????????
Hmmmmmmm maybe they did that this time. :facepalm:
