Mercrusier 6.2 MPI

Hi All
Just looking for some advise and help......started my boat today and it started to make a loud squealing sound. 1st of all last week when I started it the muffs fell of and there was no water going in. Now I hear a squealing sound and some smoke came from the engine. What do you think it is belts or water pump and if its the water pump would it make a squealing sound

Ayuh,... Did you Look at it to See what it was,..?? Belts turning or Not,..??
