Mercury 110 1967 9.8 hp impeller question

Where does the water pee out on this model ?
I watched so YouTube videos and they had a hose under the cowling. Mine doesn’t have any hose or anything like that. I want to put a new impeller in it this weekend.

On the Starboard Side, just below where it says 9.8 HP Twin


You are certain it is a 67? Post the Serial #

The hole should be in the area that I have circled in red in this image on the lower part of the cowl, take the upper cowl(engine cover) off and look in that area you should see a hole that is routed through the lower cowl. If it is there, get a tooth pick and poke up into the tube, I have had problems with mud wasps plugging my tube up over the years.

Jim is right, the motor in the video I posted is a couple of years newer, but they all evacuate water in the similar area. If you will notice the motor in Jim's video is the exact same one that I circled in the still image I posted, it was late or I would have went out and taken a picture of my personal motor, which is a '69.

It appears they moved the tel tale location. when I don't recall, but I know the 68s were the same as the 67. Your 69 might be in the newer, higher and further back spot

Some of the older models had a built in passage way to the tell tale.--It was under the engine block.------No hose.------Difficult / impossible to clean.----So they went to a hose / fitting from top of water jacket.
