Mercury 110 to 15 horsepower ?

Hey all.....My Sea Nymph needs a LIttle more kick in the butt. I have a 1974 mercury 110 this is a 10 horse motor. I've seen before that most 9.9 HP engines will accept a 15hp carb and thats usually the only difference between the two. LIke the block is the same and the Pistons ect...<br /><br />Is there a Mod I can do to My mercury 110 to get a little more HP ? If so Does anyone know where I can get the part ? Is this as simple as changing the Carb ?<br /><br />Thanks ! <br />Joe In Ohio....

That same block was used for 6, 7-1/2, 9.8Hp. You're already maxed-out. The 9.9 / 15s are totally different (next generation).
