mercury 115 offshore-classic ?

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IF THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MERCURY 115 CLASSIC AND A MERCURY 115 OFFSHORE {YEAR 1997 }

I have a 96 115HP Merc offshore. I think back then the difference was the shaft length - 20" for the classic, 25" for the offshore. I don't know if the offshore had more stainless parts.<br />Sorry not really sure on this.
