mercury 115 power loss

I have a 1980 glastron merc 115, runs great but last few times i took it out it has power loss at full throttle. I shut it off and it starts right back up as if nothing,will run fine then do it again. The only thing I have done is change the spark plugs. Fuel ball looks old, acts as if it isn't getting all the gas it needs. HELP

Brad, It sounds like you need to replace the fuel line and rebuild the fuel pump. Have someone pump the primer bulb at high speed and see if the motor's performance improves.

thanks Chris, I'll try and see if that is the problem. I don't know much about boat engines, but I thought it might have been something in the fuel system.
