Mercury 150 dies at full power!!

I have an 1986 Mercury 150 XR2 that will start and idle fine. After running at 2/3 to 3/4 throtle for about 3-4 minutes it will die. It sounds like it is running out of fuel. I have checked the vent hose and it looks fine. Any other advice will be appreciated.Thanks!

Check for water in the gas.

I had already replaced all the fuel in the tank, so I don't think that's the problem.

Does pumping the primer bulb help? Could be a tired fuel pump.
