I have a few problem's and I would be very grateful If someone could help me out. 1st one is,Ive looked for the exact year of my engine and can't find it.It's either a 76 or78..the # is 4562875..The 2nd is I have to replace a hydraulic hose on the trim...I can get that and change it easily, but I don't know where to put the fluid in or bleed it or from what i've been reading the engine has to be all the way up..It won't move..all fluid has leaked out..# on the pump is 67914a2.I would like to learn how to fix myself..does anybody have any pics or Idea's..It's a great old ranger bass boat and it run's great still..
thank's for any help....wfox

I'll bet you have the single-ram logsplitter trim system. It's off their racing models. Best trim system they ever had. The pump for those is the same as used in MerCruisers. I believe the trim has to be down on those. The fill is a large round-head screw on the corner of the reservior. It's up-right from the manual release valve.
